Luck’s Yard Clinic is a locally run family chiropractic and health care clinic in Milford Surrey.  Opening in 2007, it now has 12 therapists and 5 employees and the clinic sees between 100-150 patients a week.  They now have over 5000 patients on their list.  The  whole team work very hard in the community with healthcare education and charity work.  Tone has been a member of the Surrey branch of the Entrepreneur Circle run by Vanessa Lanham Day of CProject, and was awarded “Entrepreneur of the Month” in April for the third time in less than two years. She was also awarded “Runner up Entrepreneur of the Year” in Godalming this past December 2012.

“This has been an incredible honour” says Tone, who has been a practising chiropractor for 22 years and very engaged in her client work. “The past five years have not been as easy as in the past, but we have kept growing despite this, and we have been intent on moving forward and maintaining our customer service throughout. The awards are very much a result of our group effort, as everyone in the team are involved in growing the practice”.

As a result we decided to start a ‘practitioner forum’ with our therapists on a 4-6 weekly basis to see how we could communicate better with our patients and with people in the community. All team members had to make commitments for the next meeting, just like we do at our local Entrepreneur Circle meetings”.

As a result our patient numbers have rise by 48% since January 2013.

The clinic works regularly in the community with school talks, yoga sessions for children and supporting charities. Luck’s Yard is currently co-producing a teenage CD with The Music Works in Milford and representatives from the Haslemere Teenage Cancer Trust, which we are calling Teens 4 Teens. It features teenage singers from the whole of Surrey and is soon to be released and sold by The Record Corner in Godalming as well as on I-Tunes. During the month of April the Luck’s Yard Facebook page has also focused on helping teenage students with tops tips for avoiding stress during the exam period.

Tone has also finished an E-book with PR specialist Katy Taylor from TT Communications, titled “Six steps to PR and Social Media” focussing on how to promote an ethical health care clinic. The clinic YouTube channel is also gaining more “likes” as it features many stretch films for the neck and shoulder to help both desk workers and students.
