Yvette has undertaken a degree level training course, is registered with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.

She has previously specialised in high risk diabetes in the NHS and helped set up diabetic clinics in the Ukraine in 1997.

Recently her expertise has directed her towards biomechanics for all ages including children and pregnant patients.

She has  completed an exciting Biomechanics CPD Update course.

Yvette says: “This very practical biomechanics day was very informative and thought provoking on the most up to date assessments and variety of treatments available for all lower limb conditions.

I have now increased my knowledge and feel full of enthusiasm to apply this in clinic and the benefit to my patients”.

I will continue to use Richie braces for the more challenging conditions such as acquired flat foot, foot drop and tib post dysfunction.  The difference that this device can make is quite remarkable:

Hypermobility continues to be of huge interest to me personally and again prescribed orthotics can be invaluable to these patients of all ages, especially children, giving them stability of their lower limbs, giving them back control and helping with pain management.

Yvette demonstrates lower limb stretches which are so important for preventing and managing our lower limb complaints. Below are some recommended stretches from Yvette Mann podiatry and accossiates to help you in your recovery journey:

My hobbies and interests outside work include jogging (very slowly), volunteering at my local school, and looking after my boys and dogs.”
