Winter shoes

Now we are nearing winter, we can make the most of wearing enclosed supportive comfortable shoes or boots.

Please dont forget to buy firm deep heel cupped shoes with plenty of space for the toes and with a fastener where possible. Ankle boots are very good for extra support. This applies to both children and adults.

Dont forget that if you wear orthotics please put them in your winter shoes the majority of the time but wear them in slowly if you have not worn them for a while recently.

As I am sure there will be many christmas parties in the near future your feet will be able to tolerate the occassional party shoes if you wear sensible shoes the majority of the time.

A very merry christmas from Yvette Mann Podiatry at Lucks Yard.
