‘Sophie is familiar with Luck’s Yard Clinic having been first treated by Tone in 2012. She completed voluntary work with Tone until she went on to St Mary’s University, Twickenham to study.
Sophie graduated this year as a Sports rehabilitator.
Sophie is currently running her own clinic near Portsmouth and completing her FIFA diploma in football sports medicine.
Sophie has also assisted with pitch side care and management with Up and Running clinic in Portsmouth assisting with care for the rugby, football and hockey matches with Portsmouth University. This is an area of her degree that she enjoys thoroughly and would love to continue once Covid levels have lessened.
She has a sporting background and has grown up loving sport: she was a competitive swimmer until the age of 15, however moved onto trampolining and becoming a qualified coach but when injury struck she focussed her passion for rehabilitation.
Sophie says: ‘I love to be able to help find a diagnosis for people if they’re struggling to find the problem as well as helping decrease their symptoms and start their rehabilitation process’.
She will be offering a range of therapies including sports massage, cupping, injury assessment and electrotherapy.
Sophie’s first day will be Saturday 9th January 9-2pm and she will be running her Lucks’s Yard clinic every Tuesday 2pm-6pm and on Saturdays 9am-2pm.’
