Luck’s Yard is pleased to welcome Nicky Bateman to the Chiropractic Team.
Nicky has over 18+ years’ experience as a Chiropractor and Cranial Sacral Therapist, specialising in Paediatrics.
Born in Nigeria, she has had hugely varied career including serving as a WRNS Officer; General Manager of BUPA Health Services Hospital before setting up a new training centre to teach Fitness Instruction and Sports therapy. She has taught courses in Lifestyle management, Body Massage, and Sports Therapy including Ultrasound and Sports Massage.
This developed a long-term love with hands on therapy and she gained a First Class Honours BSc Degree from the McTimoney Chiropractic College and University of Wales. Concurrently, she also completed a full training as a Cranial Sacral Therapist at the Cranial Sacral Educational Trust, London.
Nicky has a great interest in integrated health practices of every kind from homeopathy, Nutrition through to more esoteric energetic healing therapies.
Nicky is the inventor and developer of a unique patented specialist babies soother, the QudoTM Soother which mimics the benefits of Cranial Osteopathy to deliver relief. A scientific, proven solution for uncomfortable and persistently crying babies suffering with colic, reflux, GORD (Gastro-Oesophageal Disease), poor sleeping, poor feeding, undiagnosed pain or recovering from birth.
She says: “I have successfully supported and worked with very challenging cases, especially inconsolable crying infants. I have dedicated my career to improving the immediate and longer-term wellbeing of young infants and their families by helping resolve their discomfort”.
Her current 2021 goal is to update her scuba diving qualifications ready to jump into the sea and explore an undersea world free from Covid restrictions! One aim is to join in with Maritime Conservation Projects as a wannabee Marine Biologist.
