Luck’s Yard Clinic raises over £300 for Alexandra Rose’s local Charities.
To celebrate our 3rd birthday Luck’s Yard Clinic offered chiropractic assessments, usually worth £60 per session, in exchange for a donation to charity – and during the week, many people took advantage of this offer. With over 40% of the population suffering from back pain, it was an ideal opportunity to get effective chiropractic treatment and to help local charities at the same time.
The Clinic collected £335.91 and welcomed representatives from the local charities who would benefit from the week’s fundraising. Tone Tellefsen Hughes of Luck’s Yard handed the cheque to Margaret Stock, National Director of Alexandra Rose, the Charities’ Charity. Margaret said “ she was delighted to be part of this incentive, raising awareness and helping those in need locally.”
The funds will go to help a number of local organisations …
Guy Gammell, a trustee of The Cellar in Godalming, said the funds raised would go towards a trip to Great Yarmouth.
Graham Piper of Carers’ Support, Guildford said the funds would help with giving advice to parents and young carers.
Bob Verner-Jeffreys, Chairman of Andrew Windsor Almshouses, Farnham said the money would help with heating and insulation in the houses.
