LUCK’S YARD BLUE DAY CAKE SALE RAISES OVER £1000 FOR TEENAGE CANCER TRUST
Staff at the Luck’s Yard health clinic in Milford, Surrey, raised £1,246 for teenage cancer trust a few weeks ago by dressing in blue and selling blue cup cakes in aid of the charity. Luck’s Yard owner Tone Tellefsen Hughes raised over £,1000 of the total by asking attendees at an Entrepreneur’s Circle event in Ascot to donate too. She raised £500 from them and this was matched by the Entrepreneur’s Circle founder Nigel Botterill. Cakes were also sold at Chandler school in Milford.
Tone was delighted with the results of the Clinic’s hard work on the day:
“We had a lot of fun doing this charity day and perhaps we may make it annual event. Thanks to everyone who generously donated to this worthy cause”
