Looking after your emotional health and well-being:

This is the time of year with dark mornings and short days when perhaps you find yourself thinking about those things in life which you find challenging or remember difficult life events and experiences. If it is not the first time you have felt like this and you feel that it would be helpful to talk with someone in confidence and you want to have the opportunity to be supported to perhaps resolve some personal issues:

Here at Lucks Yard we have a team of practitioners willing to support you. Most specifically Helen and Cassie, both of whom who are available to help you focus on the emotional side of well-being in a safe, non-judgmental and protected way.

Helen has recently achieved a Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy, which she adds to a BSc(Hons) in Nursing Studies, MSc degree and 30 years of nursing experience. Cassie has a FdA degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. Both Helen and Cassie work with a diverse and varied client group of all ages, genders, cultures and beliefs. Helen and Cassie are members of recognised professional groups and both receive regular professional supervision and both are committed to ongoing personal and professional development.

Whilst many people do not like to admit to others that they have received help, admitting the need for help to yourself becomes a strength and provides an opportunity for relief and change. So if you are feeling a bit down or struggling with day to day living, anxious or generally  ‘out of sorts’ then why not make an appointment to see Helen or Cassie so that you can ask questions and find out for yourself how talking to someone can feel like ‘a weight off your shoulders’.

Support and care can be short or longer term. It is expected, if you decide to attend for counselling that you will commit to a series of 6 sessions, after which you can decide whether you would benefit from further support or whether you are feeling better and more able to cope.

Special offer if booked by 15th January …

  • Introductory session of 50 minutes currently £25
  • Subsequent counseling specific sessions: £45 for 50mins
  • A discount of 10% is offered when all 6 sessions are booked and paid for in advance.
