Susan’s approach is to treat the whole person and look for any underlying energy imbalance as well as supporting specific conditions.
“In my experience acupuncture can have a very powerful effect in restoring and maintaining health for many people. I enjoy treating all kinds of people from the very young to very old and with all sorts of conditions.”
Although acupuncture is effective in the treatment of many specific conditions, it’s strength lies in its ability to treat the individual’s constitution. People report “I’m just feeling so much better in myself” which is a result of improvement in energy, sleep, state of mind.
Previously, Susan worked as a speech and language therapist in the NHS. She became inspired by acupuncture after having treatment herself and reading about the philosophy of Chinese medicine. This is very relevant to our lifestyles today, focusing also on diet, exercise and lifestyle in order to maintain health and balance.
Susan enjoys playing tennis, walking in the countryside, gardening, reading and cooking.
She is available to see clients on various weekdays both mornings and afternoons.
