We are pleased to welcome Carissa Hemphill who will be joining us on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2-6pm.

Carissa was born in South Africa and moved to the UK in 1999 with her family. She graduated at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2004 after 5 years of study and has since worked in clinics in Essex, Lincoln and lastly Farnham.  She enjoys treating people from all walks of life and working as part of a mutli-disciplinary team, working closely together to cater for every aspect of a client’s treatment needs.

Outside of work Carissa enjoys an active lifestyle and will mostly be found in the outdoors walking her Vizsla puppy Chesney or getting muddy participating at British Military Fitness.

Carissa says:

“I enjoy treating patients of all ages, infants to adults, using a mix of chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, dry needling, stretches and exercise and lifestyle advice . I encourage patients to take an active role in their health and recovery, by taking a holistic approach during assessments. This means discussing their lifestyle choices and getting clients to positively participate in their recovery.  This is greatly helped when patients understand how they’ve come to experience the pain and how with chiropractic treatment and preventative measures they can avoid possible relapses.”

I went to see Carissa after I had been involved in a car accident – I had not had an issue with my back before.  Carissa is not only knowledgeable and professional but she is both caring and understanding and puts you instantly at ease. I would highly recommend Carissa’s services.

As a person who has suffered with back issues for several years, Carissa has adapted my treatment accordingly, whether it be a sporting injury or issues relating to my desk job. Carissa has also suggested other preventative methods for healthy back maintenance. With this, my back issues have vastly decreased and of course I would highly recommend Carissa.
