Chiropractic works by ensuring efficient communication between the body and brain and by detecting areas of the body that are out of balance. It also aims to restore movement to stiff joints whilst strengthening and re-educating muscles and ligaments. As well as providing pain relief, chiropractic creates better stability, flexibility and movement in the body.
When combined with managed rehabilitation programs, positive pathways of communication are made between the body and brain, strength is rebuilt and confidence in the body's ability to cope with everyday stresses and strains is regained.
Luck’s Yard Clinic has two chiropractors; Tone Tellefsen-Hughes and Mariana Ferencakova are experienced chiropractors that deal with problems of joints, ligaments, tendons and nerves of the body, particularly those of the spine.
