| NIS arrives at Luck's Yard Clinic |
|
When the body is stressed (neurologically, pathologically, physically, or emotionally) the brain may be pushed beyond its capacity to maintain fine control of a particular system and may default to a more crude level of basic control. NIS protocols identify which system requires attention using muscle testing and then ‘re-connects’ the brain with that system using gentle tapping on the cranium. Examples of the types of systems which are addressed through NIS: regulation of hormones, integration of right and left hemisphere of the brain, the control of viruses in the body. There are 37 systems addressed in all. Through observation, the developer of this technique, Dr Allan Phillips, D.O. has found the brain can keep these re-connections best if protocols are addressed in a particular order. Subsequent visits ensure that the correction has held, or reinforce that correction if necessary. Sometimes, dietary advice may be given to reduce chemical stress to the body. This technique is appropriate for all ages to improve health and wellbeing and is also being used by professional athletes to improve their optimal performance – see the article in from Cycling Weekly in reception.
