Luck's Yard Anniversary Open Day - 7th June
June 2008 marks a whole year in business for Luck's Yard Clinic in Milford. And to celebrate this great milestone, founder Tone Tellefsen-Hughes has organised an Open Day with free taster sessions on Saturday 7th June (10am to 1pm). Eagle Radio's Love Crew will also be out and about in Godalming and back at the Clinic. The event is supporting 'Race for Life'.
"This will be such an exciting day for us," commented Tone. "It's been a wonderful year and we have built a real community at Luck's Yard Clinic with a superb team and amazing clients encompassing the whole family. It's everything I hoped to achieve.
"We are celebrating with an Open Day where we will be giving free assessments, taster sessions and advice - people just need to drop in and we will look after them on the spot! There will also be some freebies and offers, as well as a raffle. We hope as many people as possible will drop in and see us.
"Obviously we want to let more people know about who we are and what we do, so we have invited Eagle Radio's Love Crew to join us for the morning of our Open Day. They will be out and about in Godalming with balloons for the kids and talking to families for us. They will also being doing interviews which will go out on air on Eagle 96.4. Do listen out for us!"
Supporting Race for Life
Donations are being invited from anyone being treated during the Open Day, all of which will go to Cancer Research UK's 'Race for Life'. In the afternoon, Luck's Yard Clinic will have a table at the event in Stoke Park, Guildford, and will be offering advice to runners on stretching, looking after their backs and nutritional advice for cancer therapy. "We will have therapists on hand just in case anyone needs us!", Tone explained. "Two of our therapy team are running, so we will be cheering them on too.
