MSc; BSc (Hons); PgDMS; DCH; DHP; RGN; RSCN; HBCE Hypnotherapist / Counsellor Helen is a qualified nurse of many years. Until recently, she worked as a clinical nurse specialist in complementary therapies in the NHS. She has an MSc in Complementary Therapy Studies, a BSc(Hons) in Nursing Studies, and is currently studying for an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Helen also holds a PgDMS, is both RGN and RSCN, and is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Accredited Journey Practitioner and HypnoBirthing Practitioner. She is also qualified to offer some 'hands on' therapies. Helen has also undertaken some training in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) within the NHS. She also offers the use of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), neurolinguistic programming (NLP) and eyes movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), where these are appropriate and might be helpful. Helen used and developed all of these therapies, except HypnoBirthing, within her NHS role. All of the above programmes have received excellent feedback from patients, carers and NHS staff.
