Priscilla Stevens
B.Sc., M.Sc., D.C.                       Chiropractor

Priscilla’s pre-chiropractic life included a degree in Politics and working in London, as well as extensive travel.  It was a stressful job spending too much time on the phone that brought her to chiropractic – in pain!

What impressed Priscilla about the chiropractic profession was not only effective pain relief through treatment, but also the sense of control it gives back to patients through rehabilitative exercises and ergonomic changes.

Even before qualifying, Priscilla was intrigued to discover the possibilities that chiropractic care could offer the pregnant patient. She was so inspired by this that she wrote her research paper on this subject.  What an opportunity to treat two people simultaneously!

For the past year she has taken riding lessons and understands that the way a person sits in the saddle can influence the unity of horse and rider.  A riding position could be affected by back or pelvic pain brought on by previous injuries or heavy work, which may end up being uncomfortable for the rider as well as for the horse.  Chiropractic care enables the body to heal and can improve a rider’s performance.

There is a distinct advantage working in a multi-disciplinary clinic where health care professionals and therapists can employ joined-up thinking to offer our patients a breadth of expertise and support. Priscilla’s role as part of the Luck’s Yard Clinic team is to provide our patients with an excellent service.
